THE HIGH COURT OF VASSLAND

Guardian of the Constitution, and the Natural World at Large

Mandate of the Court

The Judicial Branch is an independent pillar of the State. It is tasked with the interpretation of law, the resolution of disputes, and the enforcement of justice throughout the administrative bounds of the Vassland.

Constitutional Review

The Court is authorized to review all legislative acts to ensure they align with the supreme law of the land.

Environmental Justice

The Court must ensure that all state actions uphold our commitment to conservationism and stewardship of our natural world for the future.

The Chief Justice

The High Court is led by the Chief Justice, who is appointed by the Kone. The Chief Justice holds supreme authority over the administration of justice within the realm.

Rights of the Accused

In accordance with Title IV and IX of the Constitution, every person under the jurisdiction of the Crown is entitled to a free and fair trial and equal treatment before the law.

The Judiciary reserves the right to hold investigations into any suspected breaches of internal security or threats to the community of the Vass.
